How to change the text of the default Joomla footer module. This can be easy but difficult if you are not familiar with working with ftp and web language. But this set of directions if you step by step of where to go in order to make these changes. There are other ways about setting your own footer by creating another footer module. But here are the set of directions.

1. Log into your back end files of your Joomla site using ftp. Programs such as Dreamweaver, Firezilla, etc.
2. Under your main root folder, locate the LANGUAGE folder.
3. Open the en-GB folder, and there will a bunch of files.
4. Find the file en-GB.mod_footer.ini
5. Open it and edit file using either notepad or wordpad, other programs maybe used, but these are more easy.
